Data Retention Policy
Last updated: February 2026
Account data
- Account information is retained as long as your account is active.
- When you delete your account, all associated data (aliases, mailboxes, custom domains, emails) is permanently removed from the database.
Emails
- Forwarded emails. Emails forwarded to your real mailbox pass through the server and are not stored after delivery, unless you have the built-in inbox enabled.
- Inbox emails. Emails stored in the built-in inbox are kept until you manually delete them or delete your account.
- Temp mail emails. Emails received by temp mail (public inbox) addresses are stored indefinitely. There is currently no automatic expiration.
Aliases
- Aliases are retained as long as your account exists.
- Disabled aliases remain in the database but stop receiving email.
- Deleted aliases are permanently removed.
Server logs
- Web server access logs may contain IP addresses and timestamps.
- Logs are rotated automatically and are not retained longer than 30 days.
Backups
- Database backups may be performed periodically for disaster recovery.
- Backups are stored securely and follow the same retention principles as live data.
How to delete your data
- Delete individual emails from the Inbox page.
- Delete aliases from the Dashboard.
- Delete your entire account from Settings — this is permanent and irreversible.
